Arsenal keen on signing Zenit St Petersburg forward Sardar Azmoun

Arsenal have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Zenit St Petersburg striker Sardar Azmoun.

The 26-year-old has featured on 95 occasions for the Russian outfit in all competitions, scoring 58 goals and providing 20 assists in the process.

Azmoun has a deal at Zenit until next June, though, and a number of clubs are said to be monitoring the situation surrounding the Iran international.

According to Onze Mondial via Team Talk, the Gunners are interested in the Iranian, while AC Milan and AS Roma are also said to be keen on the player.

With that said, the north Londoners would be free to approach Azmoun at the turn of the year to discuss a pre-contract, which would allow him to move to the Emirates on a free transfer next summer.

Azmoun has scored six goals and registered one assist in 12 appearances for Zenit this term.
