Roma have reportedly expressed an interest in lining up a loan offer for Manchester United midfielder Fred.

The 27-year-old has scored two times and registered four assists in all competitions during the 2019-20 campaign.

Fred struggle for regular action next term is uncertain since the Red Devils completed the signing of Donny van de Beek from Ajax.

A recent report suggested that Man United were keen to keep hold of Fred amid suggestions that Galatasaray were eyeing a summer move for the Brazilian.

However, according to Calcio Mercato, AS Roma are contemplating to make a loan offer for the playmaker, who played under Paulo Fonseca at Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Brazil international still has three years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford.
