Arsenal considering Raheem Sterling swoop

Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal, according to 90min.

The England international, who joined the Blues for a fee of £47.5 million at the beginning of the season, has not met expectations at Stamford Bridge. The report suggests that the Gunners may be interested in acquiring him at the end of the season.

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has previously worked with Sterling during their time at Manchester City, and reportedly holds the Englishman in high regard.

Sterling could prove to be a valuable addition at the Emirates. The 28-year-old forward has only scored 6 goals and registered 3 assists in all competitions.

The North Londoners are in need of additional depth in the wide areas and Sterling could be a great fit. The Gunners have been reliant on Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka as their wingers, so it is crucial to have more coverage for these two players.

Sterling’s versatility, experience, and ability could make him a valuable option. He can play in any position across the front three and would fit well into Mikel Arteta’s attacking strategy.
