Leeds United sign Rasmus Kristensen on five-year deal

Leeds United have announced the signing of right-back Rasmus Kristensen from Red Bull Salzburg.

The 24-year-old will join the Yorkshire outfit on a five-year contract which will run until June 2027.

The Denmark international becomes Leeds’ second summer signing after Brenden Aaronson completed his permanent move to Elland Road last month.

Kristensen, 24, enjoyed an impressive 2021-22 campaign with the Austrian outfit, recording 10 goals and eight assists in 44 games across all competitions.

The defender is currently plying his trade in international duty for their upcoming Nations League fixture against Croatia on Friday.
