Borussia Dortmund have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech during the January transfer window.

Despite being hampered by injury, the Moroccan has still made 11 starts and five substitute appearances for the Blues in all competitions.

However, speculation emerges that the 28-year-old is frustrated with a lack of game time during the first half of the season.

According to Bild, Ziyech is ‘not satisfied’ with the current situation at Stamford Bridge and is prepared to look somewhere else.

The Bundesliga giants have allegedly identified Ziyech as their primary target for the mid-season as they bid to keep pace with league leaders Bayern Munich.

Ziyech is contracted to Chelsea until 2025.
