Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Ajax winger Antony.

The Brazilian joined Ajax in 2020 and has established himself as a key figure for the Dutch giants, having scored nine goals and registered eight assists in their Eredivisie triumph last season.

His stellar club form throughout the 2020-21 season has earned him links with some of Europe’s biggest names, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were tipped as the number one favourites to secure the winger.

According to UOL, Barcelona have now joined the race for the youngster and considering a January offer.

The report adds that Ajax could increase the price tag further if Antony’s performances continue to remain at a high level. For now, the 21-year-old attacker is priced at €40 million and it will be interesting to see if the Catalan giants and other European heavyweights are prepared to meet the valuation.
