Barcelona are mulling over a summer move for Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Matthias Ginter.

The 27-year-old has made 148 appearances for Gladbach since his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

He made a strong start to the 2020-21 campaign, contributing two goals and one assist in 46 outings in all competitions.

According to Calciomercato, the Catalan giants will consider moving for the German centre-back if Samuel Umtiti departs during this summer’s transfer window.

Ginter deal at Borussia-Park does not expire until June 2022.
