Manchester City centre-back Eric Garcia is reportedly the subject of interest from Arsenal, according to The Sun.

Garcia is currently under contract at the Etihad Stadium until next summer, and Barcelona are said to be the No.1 favourites to re-sign the Spaniard, However, the Nou Camp giants will allegedly struggle to raise the required funds due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

The aforementioned report claims, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is ‘keeping tabs’ on the 19-year-old defender, who worked closely with the Spanish tactician when the pair were together at City.

The teenager has only featured once in the top flight since the end of October.

Garcia chalked up 30 appearances for Manchester City since his move from Barca in 2017.
