Manchester United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez, Fichajes.net claims.

Having fallen out of favour, the 29-year-old wideman had appeared to be surplus to requirements at the Spanish capital.

However, the Spain international has impressed with the La Liga champions this term, making seven starts in a defensive role.

With just over six months left to run on his contract, the aforementioned report claims that Man United are considering a bid for the Spaniard.

If the deal goes through, Vazquez would provide United with backup in the final third.
