Man United consider fresh Kalidou Koulibaly bid

Manchester United reportedly remain undeterred in their efforts to sign Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

The 29-year-old defender has regularly been linked with a move to the Red Devils, who have only made one signing so far this summer, Donny van de Beek from Ajax.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, quoted by The Mirror, now suggests that Manchester United are preparing a fresh approach for Koulibaly to bring him to Old Trafford.

The Senegal international is thought to be on the market for around €75m.

United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is known to have earmarked centre-back as one of his top priorities as he attempts to revamp a squad capable of challenging for a Premier League title.

Koulibaly racked up 246 appearances, including 26 in the Champions League for Napoli.
