Tottenham Hotspur keen on Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Matt Doherty?

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Wolverhampton Wanderers right-back Matt Doherty, according to The Telegraph.

Spurs have expressed an interest in the 28-year-old defender following his impressive form in the Premier League last season.

Doherty chalked up 260 appearances for Wolves since joining back in 2010, establishing himself as a regular under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Although, the Irishman has three years left to run on his contract at Molineux.

The report adds that the north London outfit would certainly benefit from adding a player at right-back, with Serge Aurier having failed to make a positive impact since joining the Lilywhites in August 2017.
