Sakai, 29, has made 27 appearances in Ligue 1 during the most recent campaign, but Marseille are reportedly open to selling players this summer after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
The Japan international has enjoyed a successful season with the French outfit, where he made five assists in 32 appearances.
