Real Madrid have completed a deal to sign Lyon left-back Ferland Mendy on a six-year contract.

The fee is believed to be in somewhere the region of €50million and the Frenchman will become the sixth new arrival at the Spanish capital over the summer following Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Rodrygo and Andriy Lunin.

The 24-year-old defender has made 79 appearances for Les Gones, scoring three times.
