Arsenal have emerged as rumoured suitors for Lorient’s France Under-20 international Alexis Claude-Maurice, according to The Daily Express.

The Gunners are interested in a potential deal to sign the 20-year-old promising forward Alexis Claude-Maurice this summer.

The report adds that the Frenchman would be available to sign at around the £9million mark in the upcoming transfer window.

The north Londoners could face tough competition from European rivals AS Monaco and Eintracht Frankfurt for the French prospect.

Claude-Maurice has scored 14 goals in 35 Ligue 2 appearances last season as Lorient’s top goal-scorer in the second tier of French football.
