Manchester United eyeing summer move for Ryan Sessegnon

Manchester United are reportedly planning a summer swoop for Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon, according to The Sun.

The 17-year-old has already been touted as a summer target for the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain after scoring impressive 19 Championship goals this term.

The youngster is said to have been scouted up close by Manchester United in his last three games, including in the 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.

United boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the England Under-17s World Cup winner, who plays as a left back or a left winger, and suggests that he has been given the backing of club chiefs to launch a £40m offer this summer.

Sessegnon is an ideal alternative to Danny Rose, with the Red Devils keen to bolster in that position due to Luke Shaw’s uncertain future at Old Trafford.
