The Ashes – James Faulkner out of Third Test

Australian all-rounder James Faulkner has been ruled of the third Ashes Test after suffering a hand injury during the practice session at WACA Ground, according to the ABC News.


The report claims, the 23-year-old will not be able to play in the third test of the Ashes series that starts on Friday after x-rays have revealed a fracture, Australian team Doctor Peter Brukner confirmed.

Although, Faulkner was not included in the first eleven-men team for the first two Ashes Tests at the Gabba and the Adelaide Oval, which were won by The Hosts.

The Aussies are leading the five-match Ashes series 2-0 and will claim the urn if they beat the Tourists in Perth.

The third test will starts on Friday at Perth, 02:30 AM GMT.
