AC Milan monitoring Naby Keita situation at Liverpool?
Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is reportedly the subject of interest from AC Milan.
Keita’s long-term future at Anfield is said to be uncertain as his contract is due to expire in June 2023.
A recent report suggests that the Reds are prepared to let the 27-year-old leave the club for free in the summer.
As it stands, the Guinea international will be able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from next month onwards should he fail to agree fresh terms with the Premier League giants.
Keita has largely struggled to make his mark on Merseyside following his €60m transfer from RB Leipzig in 2018.
According to Calciomercato, AC Milan have expressed an interest in making an audacious move for the midfielder on a free transfer ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
However, the report outlines that the Rossoneri are not prepared to match the Guinean’s current wages at Liverpool.
Keita has made a total of 117 appearances for the Reds, contributing 11 goals and seven assists.
