Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries is still a target for the Premier League giants Chelsea.

There was speculation surrounding the 26-year-old’s future during the summer transfer window, with Chelsea and Manchester United both believed to have been credited with an interest.

The Netherlands international has once again been one of Inter’s standout performers in an impressive season, racking up 15 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.

The Dutchman has three years left to run on his contract, but his future at the club now appears to be in doubt.

According to Calciomercato, Chelsea remain interested in signing the defender, with the Blues keen to sign him at the end of the campaign.

Dumfries has made 45 appearances for Nerazzurri during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring five goals and providing seven assists in the process.
