Inter Milan eye summer move for Chelsea defender Emerson – report
Inter Milan have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Chelsea defender Emerson during the forthcoming transfer window.
The 33-year-old will see his contract at Stamford Bridge expire at the end of next season, and the Blues are likely to consider his departure in the near future.
According to Tuttosport, Inter manager Antonio Conte has identified the Italy international as the prime target to bolster the club’s defence further.
Emerson could be available for around £15m in the summer transfer window.
Juventus, AS Roma and Napoli have also been credited with an interest in the left-back, who racked up 70 appearances for the west Londoners.
Emerson has previously said about the prospect of returning to Italy in order to boost his chances of regular playing time.
