PSG interested in Marcus Rashford

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly eyeing Marcus Rashford as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is linked with a move to Real Madrid.

The French champions are closely monitoring Rashford’s situation at Man United, where he has faced challenges both on and off the pitch.

Rashford, who secured a lucrative contract extension last summer after an impressive 30-goal season, has struggled in the current campaign, netting only four times in 26 appearances. His recent off-field issues, including missing training due to illness after a night out in Belfast, have added to the scrutiny surrounding him.

Despite Rashford’s struggles, Manchester United are determined to keep the 26-year-old striker at the club. PSG, however, sees an opportunity to capitalise on the uncertainty surrounding his future.

The French club, known for its long-standing admiration for Rashford, may make a move at the end of the season.

If Mbappe departs, Rashford could become a key figure for PSG. However, he faces competition from other potential replacements, including Rafael Leao, Victor Osimhen, Erling Haaland, and Vinicius Jr.

Manchester United remain resolute in retaining Rashford, emphasising their commitment to the player despite his recent challenges. The coming months will reveal whether PSG can persuade Rashford to make a move to the French capital.
