As it stands, the East Londoners are committed to signing new players at the midway point of the campaign.
According to Fichajes, West Ham United are giving considering moving for Alba, who is set to depart Camp Nou.
The 33-year-old has been with the Blaugrana since 2012, racking up 441 appearances in all competitions, but the La Liga giants are open to reducing their outgoings in the New Year.
The Spain international will have 18 months left to run on his contract in January, and Barcelona officials may welcome the opportunity to get the veteran’s wages off their books.
