Liverpool to make bid for Jude Bellingham
Liverpool have reportedly submit an official bid for Borussia Dortmund attacker Jude Bellingham.
The 19-year-old has gone from strength to strength at the Westfalenstadion since his move from Birmingham City in 2020, and he has already made 100 appearances for the Bundesliga giants.
The England international has won one DFB-Pokal with BVB and is not due to become a free agent until the summer of 2025, but Edin Terzić’s side are widely expected to sanction a sale at the end of the season.
Liverpool are said to be one of the frontrunners for Bellingham’s signature, and a recent report indicated that Dortmund would be willing to accept £83m upfront.
Now, Marca claims that the Reds have tabled an offer for the attacker as they want to fend off competition from the likes of Premier League rivals such as Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.
However, the former Birmingham youngster is instead holding out for a move to the La Liga and Champions League holders Real Madrid.
