PSG set to acquire Milan Skriniar deal?
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen to edge out Chelsea in the race to sign Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar.
The Italian giants are thought to be driving a hard bargain for the Slovakia international, who has a year left to run on his contract.
PSG are reported to have seen a €50m bid for the 27-year-old defender rejected by the Milan giants, who are holding out for a fee somewhere around €70m despite his contract situation.
However, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Parisians are progressing in their efforts to sign the Slovakian, even if both clubs are still some way off agreeing a fee.
Skriniar has made 215 appearances for Inter since joining for a £30.6m fee from Sampdoria in 2017.
Chelsea are said to be competing with Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of the centre-back, with the Blues losing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen already this summer.
The west London outfit have also been linked with a swoop for PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe, who has two years left to run on his contract.
Meanwhile, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also thought to be weighing up a move for Skriniar.
