Newcastle United are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr, according to a report.

The Senegal international has been linked with a move away from Vicarage Road, with Liverpool interested in him.

However, the Reds are not the only club keeping tabs on the 24-year-old attacker, as the Magpies have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing him for £35m, as reported by The Sun.

Sarr’s agent has recently admitted that the winger is looking to leave the Hornets after this campaign ends, even though he has still two years left to run on his contract.

Sarr originally joined Watford in 2019 for a fee of £30m from Rennes.

The Senegalese has only featured in 16 of their 29 top flight games due to injury problems, but he managed to score five goals.
