Leicester City are reportedly considering a swoop for Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell, according to a report.

The Foxes are said to be in the market for a new midfielder in order to strengthen their squad, with Brendan Rodgers hoping to bring the Canaries star Cantwell during this window.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who struggled so far in the 2021-22 campaign, having made two starts under Dean Smith since his arrival.

According to The Sun, the 2015-16 English champions have now joined the race to sign Cantwell before the end of this month, with various other clubs also monitoring his situation.

Cantwell has a contract at Carrow Road Stadium until the end of the season, but the 2020–21 EFL Championship winners do have the option of extending his contract.
