Tottenham Hotspur frontrunners to sign Miralem Pjanic?

Tottenham Hotspur are at the head of the queue to sign out-of-favour Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic in this summer’s transfer window.

Spurs are reportedly looking to start an overhaul with the acquisition of the 31-year-old attacker, who has failed to make himself a consistent starter in Catalonia, and the La Liga giants are willing to let him depart this summer according to The Express.

While Manchester United have been linked to the Bosnian, Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici is allegedly keen to link back up with the playmaker, who played for Juventus during Paratici’s time in Turin.

He made 178 appearances for Juve, contributing 22 goals and 41 assists while adding four Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia trophies under his belt.

Paratici is reportedly set to start a busy summer transfer window alongside Nuno Espirito Santo by bringing Pjanic to North London.
