Arsenal have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Sassuolo full-back Mert Muldur as a possible replacement for Hector Bellerin during the summer transfer window.

The Spain international is expected to make a move away from the Emirates this summer, with Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid believed to be interested in his signature.

According to The Athletic, though, the Gunners are keen to bring in another player in that position, and Muldur emerged as a potential option.

The 22-year-old Turkish is said to have been monitored by the North Londoners for the past year, and Premier League outfit will make their move should Bellerin depart.

However, the same report indicates that Muldur also said to be on Napoli and Atalanta BC’s radar.
