Arsenal step up pursuit of Real Betis’ Nabil Fekir
Arsenal have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir after losing their pursuit of Emiliano Buendia, according to Goal.
The Gunners could reignite their interest in the 27-year-old as an ideal alternative to Odegaard, and the creative midfielder would be open to a move to North London.
The report claims that Fekir wants to test himself in the English top flight after a proposed move to Liverpool in 2019 collapsed, and the Frenchman only has two years left to run on his Betis deal.
Fekir has scored five goals and registered six assists in 33 La Liga matches last season.
