Liverpool are weighing up a January move for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White.

The Premier League champions could be looking to sign a new centre-back at the beginning of 2021 following the injury to Virgil van Dijk.

The Dutchman is likely to remain on the sidelines for a couple of months, and there are doubts that he may not fit until this season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, therefore, could be forced to dig into the transfer market in January to sign a new centre-back, and White has been identified as a potential option.

According to The Mirror, the Reds are interested in signing the 23-year-old defender, but they are concerned about his lack of appearance at the back.

White has played every single minute for Graham Potter’s side so far this season.
