West Ham United to firm up interest in Eberechi Eze?
West Ham United have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Queens Park Rangers attacker Eberechi Eze.
West Ham boss David Moyes is said to be in the market to make several changes to his squad ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
QPR value the Englishman at around £20m, however, the East London outfit are unlikely to spend heavily this summer due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Guardian reports that the Hammers boss is intent on signing a new attacking midfielder and hopes that the sales of Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini and Albian Ajeti will increase his budget in the coming weeks.
The Scottish tactician is a big admirer of Eze, however, he is not the only one as Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion are also said to be keen on the Championship ace.
The youngster made his Rangers debut in 2017 and has now established himself in the first team as one of Mark Warburton’s star players.
Eze has contributed 14 goals and 8 assists in all 46 Championship matches this season.
