Tottenham Hotspur considering Kalidou Koulibaly move

Tottenham Hotspur have allegedly earmarked Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly as their top summer transfer targets, according to the Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Lilywhites are set to be linked with a number of players in the coming months as the north London outfit look to add to their squad ahead of Jose Mourinho’s first full season in charge at the club.

Koulibaly, 28, has long been linked with a move to the English Premier League and Spurs were credited with an interest in landing the centre-back in January.

He has been a key asset for the Italian outfit this season, with 14 games this term and also appeared on six occasions in the Champions League.

Di Marzio has suggested that Tottenham are keen on a deal to sign the Senegal international this summer but warned that they could face competition from Everton for his signature.

Koulibaly joined Partenopei from Genk in 2014 and has since gone on to make 250 appearances for the Italians.
