Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Emre Can from Juventus on the final day of the window.

The 26-year-old has ended speculation that he could return to the Premier League this transfer window.

The Germany international had been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and his former club Liverpool.

BVB moved into pole position in recent days, however, and have now confirmed his transfer on loan deal with an obligation to buy for £21m in the summer.

After leaving the Merseyside outfit for Juventus in 2018, Can racked up 45 appearances for the Old Lady, scoring four goals, winning one league title and the Italian Super Cup.
