Aston Villa prepare bid for Alexander Sorloth?
Aston Villa have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Crystal Palace forward Alexander Sorloth in the summer transfer window.
After joining up with the Eagles in January 2018, the 24-year-old has scored just one goal in eight starts and 12 substitute outings for the South London outfit.
However, the Norway international has been a revelation during a loan spell with Süper Lig club Trabzonspor, contributing 18 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.
According to Turkish.football.com, Aston Villa hold an interest in the Norwegian forward as they consider their options for the 2020-21 season.
The report adds that Villa have already sent scouts to monitor the development of Sorloth, who has just less than 18 months left to run on his contract at Selhurst Park.
