Big Bash League: England’s Chris Jordan signs for Perth Scorchers

England seamer Chris Jordan has signed for Perth Scorchers for the upcoming season of the Big Bash League, which runs from 17 December to 8 February.

The 31-year-old all-rounder, who is set to be available for the entire tournament – has previously represented Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Thunder in Australia’s domestic Twenty20 competition.

The Scorchers have won three of the eight Big Bash League titles since the inception of the tournament in 2011.

The Englishman will join compatriot and Lancashire right-handed batsman Liam Livingstone in Perth.
