Liverpool are weighing up a January move for Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay, according to The Express.

The 25-year-old has been with the German club since the summer of 2016, scoring eight goals and providing 19 assists in 66 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit in all competitions.

Two-Time Germany international has a contract until the summer of 2022, but the report claims that the Reds are considering a swoop in the January transfer window.

The midfielder came through the youth system at Borussia Dortmund and has also played for Hamburger SV in the German football.

Demirbay racked up 66 appearances in all competitions for Hoffenheim.
