Chelsea open talks to sign Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino
Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with Inter Milan over a possible summer move for Matias Vecino, according to The Evening Standard.
The Blues are keen on a move to try and sign the 26-year-old midfielder to Stamford Bridge before the transfer window shuts down next month on 9 August.
The report adds that Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has asked the west London outfit to make a move for the Uruguay international as he looks for his third summer signing as manager.
Vecino, who is rated at around £31m, has spent only one season with the Nerazzurri, scored three goals in 29 appearances.
Chelsea have already signed Jorginho and Rob Green so far this summer as they look to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
