Arsenal step up pursuit of Napoli playmaker Jorginho
Arsenal have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious summer move for Napoli playmaker Jorginho as the north Londoners prepare for the possible departures of duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
According to Tuttomercato via Daily Star, the Gunners could look to make a move for the 25-year-old midfielder next year, following an impressive performance at Napoli having joined from Hellas Verona in 2014.
The Italy international currently has a contract that is valid until 2020, leaving it to be speculated that the Serie A outfit will be unlikely to put him up on a sale earlier than next summer.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger may turn to the Italian playmaker, who would be a good fit at the Emirates.
Jorginho racked up 104 appearances for Napoli since his arrival at Stadio San Paolo three years ago.
