Maria Sharapova is into the finals of the Madrid Open with a comfortable 6-1, 6-4 win over Agnieszka Radwanska in the semi-finals on Saturday afternoon.

The four-time Grand Slam champion has made it in the final of the Madrid Open for the second consecutive year by beating World No.3 Radwanska.

The Russian ace will face Romanian Simona Halep in the Madrid Open final on Sunday.

I’m very excited that I can play in my biggest final tomorrow,” said the 22-year-old Halep. “I hope that I can control my emotions and just play.

Sharapova, 27, lost her last year’s Madrid final to Serena Williams, who already withdrew from the quarter-final with a thigh injury.
