Sporting Lisbon ready to make loan bid for Rafael Camacho from Liverpool

Sporting Lisbon have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious loan move for Liverpool youngster Rafael Camacho in January, The Liverpool ECHO reports.

The 18-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Reds so far this season, but has been named in the squad on three occasions.

The report suggests that the teenager is now on the radar of Sporting Lisbon, who previously had him in their youth ranks before his move to Premier League.

The Portugal Under-20 international joined the Reds from Manchester City in 2016 and has impressed the Merseyside giants during the club’s UEFA Youth League campaign so far this season.

A number of Championship outfits are also thought to be interested in the midfielder’s services and could follow the Primeira Liga outfit in making loan bids when the mid-season transfer window reopens in January.

Camacho spent two years at City after arriving from Sporting Lisbon.
