Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams in the summer transfer window, according to the Guardian’s deputy sports editor Ed Aarons.
He took to Twitter to confirm that the Reds are monitoring the Spain Under-21 international ahead of the summer transfer window.
The striker is regarded as one of Europe’s most-exciting prospects after impressing the senior side over the past three seasons in La Liga, scoring 24 goals in 111 appearances across all competitions.
Aarons wrote: “Inaki Williams’s agent is ready to open talks with Athletic Bilbao over extending forward’s £43m release clause. Liverpool have an interest.”
