Liverpool keen on Kylian Mbappe?

Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp is desperate to sign Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe at any cost in the summer transfer window, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.

The Reds manager has expressed his desire to lure the Frenchman to Anfield as Klopp looks to overhaul his squad to challenge for the Premier League title next term.

The report adds that the Ligue 1 champions have no intention of selling the teenager unless they receive an offer in excess of the £100 million that Manchester United paid for Paul Pogba.

Mbappe, 18, is also thought to be a target for Arsenal and Spanish giants Real Madrid in the ongoing transfer window.

The highly-rated striker has scored 15 goals in 26 games in his first full season in Ligue 1, while Mbappe scored six times in nine Champions League appearances.

The Merseyside outfit completed their second summer signing on Thursday after the Egyptian Mohamed Salah joined the Reds from Serie A outfit AS Roma.
