Liverpool are mulling over a summer move for Real Madrid full-back Danilo, according to CalcioMercato.

The Brazil international has struggling for game time at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, having made just 16 appearances for the La Liga giants.

The report claims, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are keeping a close tab on the 25-year-old defender and could swoop this summer. It is also thought that Klopp considers Danilo as an ideal midfield option at Anfield.

Danilo, who is contracted to Los Blancos until 2021, has only appeared in nine league games for the European champions.
