World T20: Kiwi eye semifinal spot

The ICC World T20 bandwagon finally arrives in Mohali at the Punjab Cricket Association stadium and the encounter here will be between New Zealand and Pakistan.

Good news for New Zealand, having relied a lot more on their pace department. It might even give Black Caps an opportunity to field Tim Southee and Trent Boult for the first time in the tournament.

With two wins out of two, the Kiwi have a chance to book a place in the knockouts if they make it a hat-trick of wins.

For Pakistan, another loss will less their chances of making it to the semi-finals.

New Zealand vs Pakistan, 22 March, Group 2 – 0730 PM IST

PCA Stadium, Mohali

This could finally be a crucial match for both team – where the balance between bat and ball is just about right.

NZ team combination will be one to watch out for. The spin department who have played a brilliant role so far this tournament might finally have to take a step back. There is likely to be an un-changed squad in the batting department.

New Zealand Team: Kane Williamson, Martin Guptill, Trent Boult, Nathan McCullum, Colin Munro, Luke Ronchi, Ish Sodhi, Ross Taylor, Corey Anderson, Grant Elliott, Mitchell McClenaghan, Adam Milne, Henry Nicholls, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee
