West Ham United have announced the signing of Victor Moses on a season-long loan deal from the English champions Chelsea.

The Nigerian international spent his last season on loan at Stoke City, having scored four goals in 23 appearances for the Potters.

The 24-year-old, who joined the Blues from Wigan Athletic in 2012, has scored seven goals in 24 appearances for his country.

The London outfit continue a busy start to their summer transfer deadline day, having already signed Barcelona’s Alex Song on a similar deal, with an option to retain the Cameroonian midfielder for yet another season.

Song will wear the Number 4 shirt for the Premier League club this season.

Meanwhile, West Ham have also confirmed the signing of Croatia striker Nikica Jelavic from Hull City on two-year deal.

The Hammers are hopeful to bring up to three more players to Upton Park before the transfer deadline slams shut.
