Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has ruled out the possibility of joining the Premier League giants Arsenal, with a tweet claiming that Madrid is his ‘home’.

The Frenchman has been in rumours to make a move away from the Bernabeu in recent weeks, with new manager Rafael Benitez keen to play Gareth Bale ahead of the 27-year-old striker for the centre-forward position.

However, the former Lyon player has dismissed rumours by tweeting that Real Madrid remains his home.

Benzema scored 15 La Liga goals in 29 appearances last season and he is currently recovering from a thigh injury that picked up during the pre-season.
