Somerset have announced the signing of New Zealand wicketkeeper Luke Ronchi to replace Corey Anderson, who was injured during the first Test defeat by England at Lord’s last month.
The 34-year-old has been a regular in the Black Caps limited-overs side over the last couple of years, scoring 263 runs in 15 Twenty20 internationals at 32.87 average.

Ronchi will be available for the five remaining games in the group stage of the NatWest t20 Blast, which includes the home games against Glamorgan and Gloucestershire, and the away matches against Kent and Surrey.
Somerset are currently sixth on the South Group points table and ready to face Gloucestershire this Friday.
