Murray Joins IPTL Draft

The 2013 Wimbledon champion and the British No. 1 Andy Murray has agreed to play in the inaugural International Premier Tennis League later this year in Asia, according to The Guardian.


The 26-year-old Briton will join the star players such as Rafael Nadal, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampra, Stanislas Wawrinka and Novak Djokovic.

The International Premier Tennis League event will be played in Asia this autumn season between 28 November and 20 December.

The event will have five teams based in Asian countries: Hong Kong, Mumbai (India), Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
