Tottenham Eye £26m Christos Tzolis: Greek Star Emerges as Brennan Johnson Replacement
Spurs Target Club Brugge’s In-Form Winger as January Window Heats Up
Tottenham Hotspur have identified Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis as a priority target this January, according to TEAMtalk. The 23-year-old Greek international has been in sensational form since his move to Belgium, and Spurs are reportedly preparing a concrete approach for his signature.
Tzolis’ Impressive Rise in Belgium
Since arriving at Jan Breydel Stadium from Fortuna Düsseldorf, Tzolis has transformed into one of Europe’s most exciting attacking talents. His debut season yielded an impressive 34 goal contributions, immediately proving his worth in the Belgian Pro League.

This campaign has been even more remarkable. The versatile forward has registered 10 goals and 15 assists in just 29 appearances across all competitions. His performances have propelled Club Brugge to second place in the league table, just one point behind leaders USG, while also earning him a regular starting berth for the Greece national team.
Why Spurs Want the Greek Winger
With Dominic Solanke returning from injury, Tottenham have shifted their transfer focus away from strikers. Instead, manager Ange Postecoglou is prioritising a left-winger who can provide tactical flexibility—someone capable of operating across the entire frontline.
Tzolis fits this profile perfectly. Naturally left-footed but equally effective on the right wing, he offers the versatility Postecoglou craves. His technical ability, pace, dribbling skills, and creative output make him an ideal addition to Spurs’ attacking options, particularly with recent injury concerns leaving them light in wide areas.
The Transfer Challenge
Valued at approximately £26m by Transfermarkt and contracted until 2029, Club Brugge hold a strong negotiating position. Convincing the Belgian side to part with their star performer mid-season won’t come cheap.
Tottenham face competition for other targets including Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche, Manchester City’s Oscar Bobb, and Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi. However, Tzolis’ proven productivity and reasonable price tag make him an attractive proposition as the February 3rd deadline approaches.
