Man Utd plot move for Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir
Manchester United have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Following a preliminary medical assessment today, the Red Devils are content with the results, dispelling concerns about a prior back injury.
The club’s leadership is now inclined to move forward with a formal offer for the 25-year-old stopper. A fee of approximately €7 million is anticipated, meeting the stipulated release clause in Bayindir’s contract.

The goalkeeper, standing at 6 feet 6 inches tall, has garnered admiration for showcasing impressive skills as a shot stopper, displaying proficiency in preventing goals, and exhibiting a knack for saving penalties.
Bayindir’s transfer to Old Trafford hinges on Henderson’s departure. The 26-year-old academy graduate is currently recuperating from his own injury. Henderson’s departure will only be sanctioned by United if they secure a replacement goalkeeper, thus ensuring a trio of senior keepers including the primary choice Andre Onana, and the backup option Tom Heaton.
