Arsenal hopeful of signing Declan Rice
Arsenal are confident about reaching an agreement to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have been admirers of the the England international for a long time, and they are expected to make a formal offer soon.
Although Manchester United are also monitoring Rice’s situation, the North Londoners are optimistic about their pursuit.
The club have already had initial discussions with the player’s agent, and if a transfer fee is agreed upon, personal terms should not be an issue.
West Ham United currently values the 24-year-old midfielder at around £120 million, which is higher than Arsenal’s expectation of £90 million.
Nevertheless, the North Londoners remains hopeful and optimistic that a deal can be reached with West Ham for their captain.
Rice prefers to stay in London and has ruled out Chelsea due to their lack of Champions League football.
While Bayern Munich have also shown interest in his services, the playmaker is clear that he does not want to move abroad this summer.
